PAYMENT POLICY

All tuition and fees are due prior to the beginning of each semester. Due dates for tuition and fees are listed on the Academic Calendar; the balance of the tuition must be paid in full or a payment plan arranged. MasterCard and Visa are accepted.

All tuition and fees owed to MSP are deducted from any student loan refund. See Loan Refund Schedule.

Failure to pay in full or make payment arrangements will result in a late fee of $75. There is a non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee of $35 for any returned check.

Outstanding balances are due no later than 60 days from final statement; accounts are subject to interest and collection fees for non-payment.

Registration and attendance of class is contingent upon good payment standing.

TUITION REFUND POLICY

If a student decides to drop from a course or the program, a refund of tuition is granted according to the following schedule. Fees are not refundable. Students must contact the Registrar for specific procedures.

1st day of semester – 100%
Within 7 days (2-7 days from start of semester) – 75%
Within 14 days (8-14 days from start of semester) – 50%
After day 14 – 0% (move into withdrawal period)

Financial aid recipients must also consult with the Financial Aid Coordinator to determine impact of a withdrawal/drop on the award and repayment. An additional Title IV assessment fee of up to $100 may apply if MSP must return student loan funds due to last date of attendance and withdrawal.

Tuition and fees are established annually by the Board of Trustees. MSP reserves the right to make changes, at any time, if deemed necessary, to carry out MSP’s purposes and objectives.

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT

Upon admission, a non-refundable deposit must be paid. This deposit reserves a place for the individual in the academic program and is applied to the first semester tuition.
