MSP welcomed The Metta Yoga Project to campus on November 18.

Metta Yoga is a wellness based fundraising campaign founded and hosted by Ronda Pretzlaff Diegel, PhD, LP, who, in addition to being an adjunct faculty member at MSP, is a licensed clinical psychologist, yoga teacher, and mindfulness meditation teacher.

Dr. Diegel described in a Q&A how the presidential election of 2016 inspired her to create Metta Yoga as a space for mindful action to fundraise for the causes nearest to her heart.

At MSP, we raised money for Equality Michigan, an LGBTQ political advocacy group.

The MSP Practicum Fair was an opportunity for PsyD 1 students to network with potential practicum placements and discover what opportunities were available while they earn their hours.

The Fair offered a chance for students and clinical sites to meet and greet in a professional environment before any placement decisions are made.
