Graduation & Commencement

Graduation Requirements

The degree is awarded upon final audit and is based on fulfillment of all degree requirements. The posting date is the last day of the semester in which all degree requirements are fulfilled. See Academic Catalog for specific program requirements.

Students who have not returned all library books and paid any outstanding tuition and fees or other indebtedness to the institution will not receive transcripts, a diploma, or other official school documentation.

The graduation ceremony is scheduled annually at the end of the third semester. All students who meet the requirements to receive a degree within that academic year are eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony. The posting date for students who complete requirements for a degree during the first or second semesters is the last day of the last semester of attendance in which they fulfill all degree requirements. Students are required to submit a Graduation Application to the Registrar’s Office in order to be eligible to participate in commencement and/or to ensure timely degree conferral.
