The Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) monthly meeting is held at the Woodlands office, Suite 201 on Orchard Lake and 11 Mile.  You don’t have to be a member to attend. The group meets monthly EVERY SECOND FRIDAY (except through summer). It is an opportunity for participants to network, dialogue, organize, fellowship, and take part in social justice activism. Dealing with Anger in Substance Abuse Recovery

Attendees will learn about the various styles of anger expression, comorbidity, explore transgenerational factors that have influenced the way an individual copes with their anger as well as the inherent consequences, and gain knowledge about specific treatment approaches. Treating Addictions Through a Trauma-Informed Perspective
