New Student Orientation

New student orientation is almost upon us!  We are so excited to welcome our incoming part-time masters and doctoral students.  Please find your orientation itinerary below (divided by program).
 
Here are a few additional items to be aware of
  • ​Be ready to take your student ID photo when you arrive.
  • Meals/snacks/drinks will be provided, but if you have specific dietary needs, please feel free to bring your own items.
  • If you have a laptop/mobile device, please bring it to follow along in the Library, Technology and Communication session.
  • You will receive a ton of information/resources you will need along with a folder, pen, and small notebook. Included in your documents will be a hard-copy of your class schedule.  Classes start immediately on Thursday, September 3rd!

Incoming PsyD Student Orientation

8:30am            Continental Breakfast and Registration-  Atrium

9:00am            Kickoff-  Atrium

10:00am          Program Meeting: Syllabi, Schedules, Advising & Program Evaluations- Room 1

11:00am          Student Panel – Survival Skills and Q & A – Room 1           

12:00pm          Lunch -Atrium

  • Lunch/drinks provided

12:45pm          Experiential Activity – Atrium

1:15pm            Catalog, Institutional Policies & Procedures – Room 1

  Student Engagement & Involvement Opportunities

2:30pm            Break

  • Snacks/drinks provided

2:45pm            Library, Technology and Communication – WRC

  • Bring a laptop/mobile device to work along w/ presenters
    • Limited number of desktop computers

  • Bring a laptop/mobile device to work along w/ presenters
    • Limited number of desktop computers

8:45pm           Closing – Atrium
