ABA Certificate Admission
The Admissions Committee looks for candidate’s demonstration of exceptional ability in professional background or training. Applicant credentials are evaluated as a composite on the basis of all information submitted in the admission process.
To be considered for admission for the ABA certificate program, applicants must have a master’s degree in psychology, education or behavior analysis. There are no exceptions to this requirement. Applicants must submit an admissions application, official transcripts that reflects a master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education with a minimum 3.0 GPA, a resume, and a personal statement that addresses interest and experience in applied behavior analysis. A criminal background check is required of all individuals pursuing the ABA certificate. MA applicants must follow the general master’s degree admission to process and declare an ABA concentration.
Program Costs and Financial Assistance
The cost of courses for the ABA certificate is assessed at the master’s tuition rate. Fees are based on enrollment level according to the MA program fee schedule. More information can be found on the Tuition & Fees page.
Financial aid for graduate students is primarily in the form of loans. However, scholarships may also be available for students enrolled in the MA program.
